A series of engaging walks to discover hidden parts of Dublin, facilitated by the historian Patty Liddy. They are free for the public, offering a real way to discover the local culture.
Schedule for next walks:
Monday 16th November at 11am: ‘A Slice of the Park’. Meet outside the Halfway House Pub, Ashtown, Navan Road, Dublin 7. Join us for a stroll through the Phoenix Park to Ashtown Castle, taking in the natural environment and heritage along the way. To conclude, the OPW have kindly agreed to give us a short tour of the fully restored Ashtown Castle.
Wednesday, 18th November at 2pm: ‘Raheny - Around the Edge of a Great Demesne’. Meet at 2pm outside Raheny DART Station, Raheny, Dublin 5. Take a gentle walk around the roads skirting Raheny village and through the lovely St. Anne's Park, enjoying some stories along the way.
Saturday, 21st November at 2pm: ‘Fairview from Times Past’. Meet outside the AIB Bank, 87 North Strand Road, Annesley Bridge, Dublin 3. Explore an area which was fought over by the Vikings, cultivated by the gentry and is now a vibrant and historic inner city suburb.
Thursday, 26th November at 2pm: ‘A Walk around Embassy Land’. Meet at Sandymount Green, Sandymount, Dublin 4. Take a journey along fashionable roads where the rich of the 19th century resided and where many foreign embassies are located.

All ‘Let’s Walk & Talk’ events are FREE and no booking necessary.
All Walks and Tours usually last about 90 minutes.
